Guideline for submitting pictures
to the "Museum of Organs"

The policy for your contribution is as follows:

1) We only accept photographs which were taken by yourself or of which copyright you own. If not, please secure permission for web reproduction from the copyright owner.

2) We accept a photo sent as:

    a) An image file sent as an e-mail attachment. (Jpeg format is preferable, however, do not compress it too much. Other formats will also be accepted.) We expect that a scanned image is of very good quality.
    b) A print on photo paper of good size.
    c) A negative or reversal (positive) film, at lease 36x24mm (on a 35mm film).
    d) Printed material such as brochure, postcard, etc.
    Maximum size for b), c) and d) is 300 x 215mm.
3) We normally do not accept any image file which was scanned from a printed material (book, brochure, postcard, etc.) unless the quality is exceptionally high.

4) We reserve right to retouch your original photograph so that it will look best on the web. (Brightness/contrast, sharpness, perspective, etc.)

5) A short description (history, etc.) of the organ as well as its specification (stoplist) will be appreciated along with the photo.

6) Contributor's name as well as the name of copyright owner will be credited on the web page.

7) The photo(s) you send will not necessarily be displayed in the "Museum". Also, any displayed photo can be removed from the "Museum" at any time.

8) The materials you send will not be returned to you unless you expressly requests a return.

This policy may be changed at any time.
